CARROLL THAYER BERRY (1886-1978) Maine artist known as THE DOWN EAST PRINTMAKER. As an engineer he worked on the Panama Canal before moving to Maine to become an artist. His work is well known and hands in many important collections, including The Library of Congress. A few years ago a book was published on his life and work. All Berry drawings are unsigned but guaranteed. His original drawings are rare.
