FREDERICK Fritz SOLOMON (1899-1980) German Expressionist. He the Mowbray Prize [1944] in London; was listed in WHOS WHO IN ART [1954 London edition]. He studied art with such famous German artists as: Max Liebermann, Martin Brandenburg, Eugene Spiro & Willy Jaeckel [Masterclass]. Exhibitions: Berlin, Cologne, Capetown, Haifa, London [Royal Academy], U.S., and in 1958 had one-man show at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Havana, Cuba. In 1956 several of his paintings were exhibited at the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio. He died in the U.S.
